How much does outsourcing contribute to unemployment?

By admin | April 27, 2010

Veritatum17 asked:

Serious question. How much of the growth in the unemployment over the last four years can be attributed to jobs being moved overseas?

Statistics and cites are greatly appreciated.
Actually I’ve already got my graduate degree and I’m working full time.

The BEA and BLS sites aren’t working for some reason on my browser. Can anyone think of a figure off-hand? I had read 2% during the 1990s, but obviously that’s an older paper.
