Outsourcing of union jobs?

By admin | September 13, 2007

elle_nelson asked:

Is there any current gov. or state (arizona) laws that prevent or regulate outsourcing on union jobs?

References would help as well. Thanks.

The whole point of union is cheaper.

Arizona is a Right to Work law and that means they are anti-union along with other US states with the same law. This is different from others that was just propaganda.

Right to Work allows businesses to pay less.

At-Will Employment contract and doctrine allows employers to terminate without reason.

The following 22 states are right-to-work states:

      Alabama
Arizona - (established by state’s Constitution, not by statute)
Arkansas - (established by state’s Constitution, not by statute)
Florida - (established by state’s Constitution, not by statute)
      Georgia
      Idaho
      Iowa
      Kansas
      Louisiana
      Mississippi
      Nebraska
      Nevada
      North Carolina
      North Dakota
Oklahoma - (established by state’s Constitution, not by statute)
      South Carolina
      South Dakota
      Tennessee
      Texas
      Utah
      Virginia
      Wyoming
The territory of Guam also has right-to-work laws.

Wal Mart is best in union busting.
